Spring in Maria’s Garden – FineGardening
In the present day’s pictures are by Mary Spencer.
Thought you would possibly like some photos of my spring flowers in Westminster, Maryland.
Named for Meriwether Lewis of Lewis and Clark fame, lewisia (Lewisia cotyledonZones 5–8) is native to the mountains of western North America and has lovely flowers in spring.
Gardens are excellent locations to sit down and bear in mind misplaced family members. Behind the bench, a Japanese maple (maple palmatumZones 5–9) is simply searching.
Spring is in sight! The planters are overflowing with flowers and daffodils (Narcissus hybrids, Zones 4–8) are displaying off within the entrance rows.
New life is showing in all places because the daffodils bloom and the fern leaves start to unfurl.
A little bit of backyard artwork is hidden within the lush spring greenery.
